Performs a variety of skilled jobs pertaining to the operation/correction of concerns/setup and maintenance of the CNC as well as other skilled non-CNC related tasks. This role is responsible for programming and operation of CNC routing including bid costing, and assuring that an established preventative maintenance program for all Plant 1 CNC’s are up to date. The CNC Supervisor will coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor and the Manufacturing Manager on scheduling preventative maintenance, and will perform required preventative maintenance in the absence of maintenance personnel. This role is also responsible for identifying and correcting any CNC concerns, such as spindle head location, re-homing, or broken knives, and for contacting KOMO for support. The CNC Supervisor will attend CNC-related training opportunities, assist Maintenance in protecting CNC dust collection systems from damage, and assist in performing regular maintenance of air compressors. Using existing specifications, the CNC Supervisor will assist in performing visual inspections, dimensional inspections, final inspections, delivery examinations, and performance testing. Additionally, this role will assist in the review of all routings and recommend changes to the Manufacturing Manager as necessary, and assist with production office paperwork processes. The position requires the ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance. All other duties as deemed necessary are also part of this role, and additional hours if needed are mandatory.
