Performs a variety of skilled jobs pertaining to the operation/correction of concerns/setup and maintenance of the CNC as well as other skilled non-CNC related tasks. Responsible for programming and operation of CNC routing including bid costing. Responsible for assuring that an established preventative maintenance program for all Plant 1 CNC’s are up to date. Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor and the Manufacturing Manager the scheduling of the preventative maintenance of the CNC’s. In the absence of the Maintenance Personnel be able to perform the required preventative maintenance at the CNC’s. Responsible for identifying and correcting any CNC concerns; ie spindle head location-rehome-broken knives. Responsible for contacting KOMO. Attend any CNC related training opportunities. Assist Maintenance in ensuring that the CNC dust collection systems are protected from damage. Assist in performing regular maintenance of air compressors. Using existing specifications, the CNC Supervisor will assist in performing: Visual inspections, Dimensional inspections, Final inspections, Delivery examinations, Performance testing. Assist in the review of all routings and recommend changes to the Manufacturing Manager as necessary. Assist with production office paperwork processes. Be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds independently and if required lift up to 100 pounds with assistance. All other duties as deemed necessary. Additional hours if needed are mandatory.
