About The Position

Relativity Space is hiring a CNC Setup Operator I for its Stage Manufacturing team, which builds Terran R’s primary structures. The team works collaboratively to turn designs into manufactured rocket structures, improve production processes, and adapt the factory as the vehicle evolves. This second-shift role operates CNC and other fabrication equipment and performs inspection, finishing, and lifting tasks. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. PT. The position is structured around a 50-hour workweek, including 10 guaranteed overtime hours each week, and includes a 10% shift differential in addition to base pay. The hiring range is $26.92–$40.38 USD. Compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. Requirements

Experience with metal fabrication techniques such as bending and rolling.
Experience with machining equipment such as mills and lathes.
Proficiency with common hand tools and inspection tools.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or team communication tools such as Slack or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience with rigging and crane operations.
Experience with welding operations.
Experience with CNC, robotics, and/or machine programming.
Experience reading drawings and/or GD&T.

Responsibilities

Run 3-axis CNC routers, plate mills, and roll-forming equipment.
Complete standard lift operations or assist in critical lift operations.
Perform precision blending and deburring using standard power tools or hand tools.
Perform in-process inspections using hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.
Uphold Relativity Space standards for safety and shop cleanliness.
