CNC Punch Operator II- 2nd Shift

About The Position

This role is responsible for operating a CNC punch machine to manufacture non-ferrous parts, equipment, and other components from copper bars. The operator will prepare, set up, and adjust the machine as needed, measure and align materials, and inspect finished products for quality compliance. The position also involves performing routine maintenance, maintaining a clean work area, and logging material certifications. The hours for this position are for the 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.

Requirements

Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate CNC controls.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans.
Basic computer and math skills
High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
Machine Operator: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Follow direction provided by SOPs, Leads, Supervisors, and Engineers.
Conduct daily activities in a safe manner.
Operates CNC punch machine to manufacture non-ferrous parts, equipment, and other components from copper bars.
Prepares, sets up, and adjusts CNC machine as required by product plans and production schedules.
Measures and aligns materials to be used.
Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Performs routine maintenance on the machines.
Maintains a clean work area.
Maintains material certification logging.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
