About The Position

Dixon Quick Coupling, a division of The Dixon Group, is seeking motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operators for their Dallas, NC facility. This role involves operating CNC mills and lathes to produce precision metal components, inspecting products to ensure they meet drawing specifications, reading blueprints, using measuring instruments, and identifying/adjusting for machining issues. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is required.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and read blueprints.
  • Ability to use shop mathematics.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds over the course of a shift.
  • Willingness to learn new things and be part of a team.
  • Great attitude and attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-5+ years of CNC experience is preferred.
  • Experience as a CNC Mill or Lathe Operator is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate multiple CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) machines.
  • Work safely around equipment and coworkers.
  • Participate in training and learn about Dixon products.
  • Perform daily maintenance activities.
  • Demonstrate flexibility with rotating assignments.
  • Work as part of a team.
