About The Position

This position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor and is responsible for operating CAD software, creating multi-part programs for Trumpf 7000 Punch-Laser Combination Machines, and managing raw material utilization. The role involves creating bend programs for Trumpf Press Brake Machines, determining part costing, troubleshooting software and machine errors, and setting up and operating specific Trumpf machines. Additionally, the CNC Programmer will execute project-related assignments focused on process improvements.

Requirements

High School Graduate
2+ years of CNC Programming experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Must be able to understand complex written and verbal instructions in English
Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to focus for extended periods of time
Proficient computer skills
Ability to read and interpret quality documents, technical procedures, work orders, schematics, and engineering drawings
Ability to work in team environment and communicate effectively
Must regularly be able to lift and move up to 50lbs
Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus

Technical Certifications
Experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD)

Responsibilities

Operate CAD software programs including: Trutops Bend, Trutops CAD, Trutops Punch
Create multi-part programs for Trumpf 7000 Punch-Laser Combination Machines
Manage utilization of raw materials and programs efficiently
Complete work assignments adhering to the Production Schedule
Create bend programs for single parts for Trumpf Press Brake Machines
Determine part costing from machine times, labor time, and materials required
Troubleshoot issues, i.e. software and machine errors, parts out of tolerance, and inventory control issues
Set-up and operate Trumpf 7000 Punch-Laser Combination and Trumpf Press Brake Machines
Execute project related assignments, i.e. process improvements
