About The Position

We're seeking a CNC Programmer to join our team in Rochester NY. The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for precision aerospace rings manufactured from bar stock and forgings. This role ensures programs are efficient, repeatable, and compliant with aerospace quality standards (AS9100) while supporting on-time delivery and cost objectives.

Requirements

• Associate degree or technical certification in CNC Programming, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
• 2 years programming of CNC turning machines
• M and G code knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret complex Engineering documents
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Experience with machining aerospace fittings or tight-tolerance components preferred.
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Familiarity with: AS9100 quality systems, First Article Inspection (AS9102) and NADCAP requirements (if applicable).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills and process improvement mindset

Responsibilities

• Optimize cycle times while maintaining dimensional integrity and requirements.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and revise programs to improve yield and reduce scrap.
• Collaborate with Quality to resolve nonconformances and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance to CNC Machinists and Setup Technicians along with training.
• Maintain program documentation, revision control, and backup systems.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
