About The Position

Davis Tool, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team to create programs and process documentation for Mills and Lathes. We manufacture a wide variety of parts for the Aerospace, and Semiconductor industries. The successful candidate will create high quality CNC programs for a mix of equipment and batch sizes. A typical day’s tasks would include, but is not limited to:

Requirements

Experienced as a CNC programmer.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, on both technical and non-technical matters.
Ability to read & understand engineering drawings & common CNC programming languages.
Experience running CNC equipment in a production environment.

Nice To Haves

Siemens NX experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Create efficient and accurate CNC programs.
Improve efficiency of existing CNC programs.
Utilize MRP software in the creation of tool lists for CNC programs that provide maximum metal removal rates for a variety of materials.
Provide feedback and suggestions on fixture design and contribute to the development of manufacturing plans.
Work with machinists to improve existing processes.
