This role involves engineering associated with the manufacturing process, impacting the quality of one's own work and the work of others on the team. It requires executing standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines, with the latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete tasks/duties based on changing work situations. The NC/CNC Programmer duties include reading and interpreting design blueprints, programming the CNC machine, and adjusting the machine settings until the desired specs are met. This person will work with the production and quality teams to make sure proper build books are created in a timely manner to meet production needs. The Manufacturing Engineer duties include responsibility for departmental operations, functioning with some autonomy but guided by established policies. This role involves leading and effectively interfacing with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality, and cost savings goals. The job allows modification of procedures if the end results meet standards.
