About The Position

Frasal Tool Co is a privately held precision machining and tooling manufacturer founded in 1972. The company specializes in custom aerospace ground-support tooling, precision components, fixtures, gauges, and complex assemblies. We currently have openings for Experienced CNC Programmer/Machinists: 2 CNC programmer/MILLING machinists, 1 CNC programmer/LATHE machinist. This is NOT an entry-level position. A minimum of 5 years of metalworking/CNC experience is required. This is a great opportunity for an experienced machinist who enjoys complex, low-volume work rather than repetitive production machining. Parts are typically prototypes or quantities ranging from one to a few pieces. You will work independently and take projects from programming and setup through machining and inspection, while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Management, and other Machinists.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of CNC/metalworking experience
Proficiency programming with Mastercam or comparable CAM software
Strong CNC setup and operating experience in milling OR lathing
Proficient blueprint reading and GD&T
Strong knowledge of precision measuring equipment
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining challenges
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets, and work instructions
Program, set up, and operate CNC milling or turning centers
Create and modify CNC programs using Mastercam or other CAM software
Machine low-volume and prototype aerospace tooling components
Independently take parts from start to finish
Apply GD&T principles and maintain required tolerances
Inspect finished work using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Control, Management, and other Machinists
