About The Position
Leonhardt Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator for their first-shift manufacturing team in Hanover, PA. This role is suited for an operator proficient in reading prints, performing machine setups, selecting tooling, and making necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet specifications. The operator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake equipment to manufacture formed metal components.
Requirements
- Hands-on press brake experience
- CNC press brake operating and setup experience
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing blueprints
- Experience using standard measuring and inspection equipment
- Working knowledge of basic shop math
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of CNC press brake experience
- Experience with bend deductions and forming calculations
- Experience working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Experience troubleshooting machine setups
- Manufacturing certifications
Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating CNC press brakes
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Selecting and installing the correct tooling for each job
- Making setup and machine adjustments as needed
- Checking dimensions and verifying parts meet print requirements
- Using calipers, protractors, height gauges, and other measuring equipment
- Working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Identifying and correcting setup or forming issues
- Maintaining an organized and safe work area
