About The Position

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a CNC Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to bend and shape metal sheets and plates according to specifications. You will work with a variety of materials, such as stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel, to produce precise and accurate components. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC press brake machines
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets and plates
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine bending operations and specifications
Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
Monitor machine operations to ensure that products are formed accurately and the machine is functioning properly
Adjust machine settings to control factors such as depth and angle of bends, thickness of material, and speed of machine
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
Maintain a clean and organized work area
