Requirements

2+ years running CNC cutting equipment, or strong pipe fitting/fabrication experience with the aptitude to learn the machine.
Ability to read isometric and spool drawings, weld symbols, and cut sheets.
Working knowledge of weld prep and understanding of why bevel specifications matter.
Forklift or telehandler ability and safe rigging practices.
Organized, self-directed, and production-minded.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

Experience with plasma cutting of carbon and stainless pipe.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Program, set up, and run the 5-axis CNC plasma pipe cutter and two plasma machines, jobsite to jobsite.
Cut bevel angles and lands to the WPS for welders.
Build cuts from isometric and spool drawings, sequencing cut sheets to stay ahead of every crew.
Verify dimensions, angles, and bevels before parts leave the conex and track heat numbers from pipe to piece.
Set up the mobilization station (power, air, gas, fume management), maintain an organized production-ready station, and perform road-ready teardown.
Perform daily torch and machine care, consumable changes, and flag issues before they become downtime.
Adhere to safety protocols including hot work permits, fire watch, rigging, PPE, and client site rules.
