About The Position

South Bay Solutions is a high-precision machine shop, making parts for semiconductor, medical devices, and advanced tech hardware. Our tolerances are measured in microns, our equipment is top-of-the-line, and our team is passionate about quality craftsmanship. Responsible for, but not limited to operating assigned machinery. Operator ensures that the machine runs smoothly and is appropriately maintained. The essential role of a CNC operator is to operate CNC machines, load and unload raw materials or partially finished goods, inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.

Requirements

• Must be able up to lift 50 lbs.
• Basic math and writing skills.
• High School diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating Horizontal, Vertical or Lathe CNC in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Measurement tools and blueprint experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use drawings (blueprint), specs and instructions to operate CNC Machinery.
• Maintain or exceed job production standard.
• Sustain a safe, efficient, and clean work environment.
• Responsible for the general maintenance and clean-up of the shop.
• Organize materials, hardware, and tooling.
• Perform other job-related duties.
