About The Position

All Things Metal Industries is hiring a CNC Operator for ATM Steel, its structural steel fabrication and erection team serving large-scale projects in the Phoenix area. The operator runs CNC cutting equipment, including plasma and laser cutters, and ensures finished parts meet quality standards. The role calls for attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. No prior experience is required; training is provided.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a one-hour unpaid lunch. Occasional Friday half-days may occur depending on department needs. Compensation is $20 or more per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Experience with reach forklifts and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material from machines.
• Neatly palletize processed parts.
• Use a forklift.
• Read blueprints.
• Operate multiple CNC machines and other equipment, including plasma tables, laser tables, small-profile tube processors, pipe benders, beamlines, and cobot welders.
• Set up machines and programs.
• Perform in-depth machine maintenance.
• Maintain general workplace cleanliness and good housekeeping.
• Follow established safety rules and protocols.
• Perform additional equipment operation or other tasks as directed by the supervisor or CNC manager.
