DALB, Inc. is seeking an entry-level CNC Operator to produce machined parts using CNC machines. This role involves setting up machines, making adjustments, troubleshooting, and performing tool changes to meet production schedules and quality requirements.   • High school diploma or equivalent with technical and mechanical inclination.
  • Must be reliable.

  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

  • Experience with CNC machines.
  • Ability to suggest methods to reduce setup time and machining through process improvements.
  • Understand, interpret, and edit G-code programming.

Responsibilities

  • Setup, operate, adjust, and change tools on CNC punch presses.
  • Safely perform all fabrication and finishing steps efficiently.
  • Execute all CNC equipment workflow.
  • Perform proper calibration procedures as needed.
  • Read and understand manufacturing orders and the dispatch list.
  • Suggest methods to reduce setup time and machining through process improvements.
  • Understand, interpret, and edit G-code programming.
  • Document daily scrap.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are in good working order and are free of safety hazards.
  • Regular attendance and the ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Communicate safety and maintenance issues to supervisor.
  • Analyze engineering drawings and manufacturing orders.
  • Examine parts for defects and measure parts to ensure conformance with specifications.
  • Assist in maintaining tools, gauges, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
  • Troubleshoot machine errors and inconsistencies and adjust machine settings accordingly to fix errors.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
