About The Position
TekPro is a direct-hire recruiting firm partnered with leading manufacturing companies to connect skilled talent with top-tier opportunities. We are currently seeking CNC Operators and Machinists for a well-established, high-performing manufacturing facility in Hanover Park. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with a 2nd shift schedule.
Requirements
- Experience operating or setting up CNC machines
- Ability to read blueprints and use inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable and able to work a consistent 2nd shift schedule
Nice To Haves
- Machining experience in a production environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate and/or set up CNC machines (mills and/or lathes)
- Monitor production runs to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments as needed
- Inspect parts using standard measuring tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
