About The Position
B&T USA is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role will operate CNC machines and equipment, prepare test runs to ensure a machine is working properly as well as inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2-3 years of proven experience as a CNC operator.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of 5 axis vertical and 4 axis horizontal mills and multi spindle/turret mill turn lathes a plus
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform various tasks like drilling, grinding, and milling.
- Understand specifications of the task at hand by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct functions.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Monitor machines as they run and adjust as needed
- Inspect and measure finished products using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure they meet specifications.
- Perform daily maintenance on the machinery to ensure functionality.
- Adhere to production schedules and meet deadlines
