About The Position

The CNC Operator operates milling or turning CNC machines and supports production, inspection, documentation, and workplace organization.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0–3 years of experience operating milling or turning machines.
• Attention to detail.
• Verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic inspection equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of GD&T.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and cost reduction; identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines.
• Follow the production schedule.
• Inspect parts using basic measurement tools and follow in-process inspection instructions.
• Complete the traveler and place it with the product.
• May operate a CMM.
• Maintain a well-organized and clean working area.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with ISO policies and procedures.
• Understand and follow policies and procedures.
