About The Position

This position is responsible for providing accurate measurements and precision cutting of parts based on blueprints. Requirements

Ability to walk and stand on feet for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.
Ability to crawl on hands and knees.
Ability to climb a ladder.
Ability to work long hours.
Ability to work outdoors year-round and therefore subject to all weather conditions sometimes to include extreme cold and heat.
High School Diploma.
5+ years in a relevant area - mechanical, technical, painting, and/or machining experience.

Responsibilities

Receive and read instructions and implement specific instructions.
Review prints.
Figure angle/pitch from rise & run.
Understand basic angles.
Utilize knowledge of all cutting types – Band Saw, Torch, Plasma, and Shear.
Utilize knowledge of notching, punching, and Press Brake functions.
Take and follow directions.
Drive a fork truck (certification preferred).
Identify different material types (e.g., carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum).
Stand for long periods of time.
Lift up to 75 lbs.
