About The Position

This is a Temp-To-Full-Time CNC Operator position available for a great company in Hudson, OH. The role involves operating CNC mill and lathe machines, documenting progress, making machine tool adjustments after training, and ensuring product quality using various measuring tools. The position also requires physical tasks such as lifting, using a pallet jack, operating hand tools, and moving product with a forklift. The company offers multiple shift options, including weekend shifts with a pay bonus, and competitive compensation.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow rules, instructions, and guidelines.
  • Ability to interact with all departments.
  • Experience running CNC mill and lathe machines.
  • Proficiency in documenting progress using data collection sheets and Microsoft Navision software.
  • Ability to complete machine tool adjustments after training.
  • Experience using measuring equipment to track product quality.
  • Ability to operate common inspection and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gages.
  • Ability to operate specialized inspection and measurement equipment, such as comparators, CMM, as applicable.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use a pallet jack.
  • Ability to operate small hand tools for deburring and cutting.
  • Ability to move product using a forklift.
  • Experience setting up, operating, and adjusting multi-axis CNC Mills and lathes.

Responsibilities

  • Follow rules, instructions, guidelines and all other duties as assigned.
  • Interact with all departments as a team player.
  • Run CNC mill and lathe machines.
  • Document progress using data collection sheets and Microsoft Navision software.
  • Complete machine tool adjustments after completed and documented training.
  • Use measuring equipment to track product quality per data collection sheets at noted intervals.
  • Produce a defect-free product with quality assurance assistance and guidance.
  • Operate common inspection and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gages.
  • Operate specialized inspection and measurement equipment, such as comparators, CMM, as applicable.
  • Lift 50 lbs. and use a pallet jack.
  • Use small hand tools for deburring and cutting or as directed.
  • Move product in and out of the department by use of a forklift.
  • Set up, operate, and adjust multi-axis CNC Mills and lathes for complex, high-precision parts.
