About The Position

Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift CNC Operator to join our growing team in Grand Rapids. In this role, you'll help produce high-precision machined parts that support mission-critical applications—while working with advanced CNC equipment and a team that values craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and safety.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years CNC machine experience in a production environment
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for your full shift
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Comfortable using CNC interfaces systems
• Skilled at measuring key dimensions using calipers, micrometers, gauges
• Background in CNC production manufacturing.
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Mazak DMG Mori, or Hurco machines preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines including loading, unloading, and de-burring parts
• Perform machining operations using hand tools and precision gauges
• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and tolerances
• Perform daily cleaning, light maintenance, and preventative care
• Maintain accurate machine logs and documentation
• Monitor equipment performance, tool wear, lubrication levels, and chip removal
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation
• Continuously improvement —making work better and faster
