About The Position
Nesco Resource is seeking experienced 2nd Shift CNC Operators for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Bethel, CT. The role involves operating CNC machines, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring efficient production. The 2nd shift runs Monday to Friday, from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with the possibility of training on the 1st shift (7 AM to 3:30 PM). The pay rate is $21-$23 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous CNC Operator experience.
- Knowledge of Mill or Lathe operation.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Accommodates Spanish speaking.
Nice To Haves
- G-code programming knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Monitor CNC machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
- Perform regular quality control checks using measuring tools.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance.
- Identify and resolve machine or production issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate production records.
