Nice To Haves

  • Technical coursework, certification, or degree in Machining, Manufacturing, Tool & Die, Machine Tool Technology, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a machine shop, manufacturing environment, internship, or technical program
  • Familiarity with basic machining tools and measuring equipment

Responsibilities

  • Learn how to sharpen and maintain tooling components using precision grinding equipment
  • Assist with machining operations including drilling, milling, turning, and CNC machining
  • Help build, repair, and maintain molds and tooling used in manufacturing
  • Learn CNC machine setup and make basic program adjustments
  • Read and interpret prints, measurements, and specifications
  • Maintain quality standards and follow safe work practices
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and ready for use
  • Collaborate with tooling, engineering, and production teams to solve problems and improve processes
