About The Position

Micro Gauge in Brighton is seeking Full-Time CNC Machine Operators for 3rd shift. These are DIRECT HIRE positions. The CNC Operators will tend to and operate lathe/milling machines to machine surfaces of metal workpieces to specifications according to the job book instructions. The hourly rate is $20.50 with a potential additional $3 per hour for perfect attendance and achieving 110% of the production number.

Requirements

• Previous CNC experience
• Ability to perform offsets on CNC machines
• Previous opt 10 and opt 20 experience
• Ability to use gauges
• Verifiable long-term work history
• Good work ethic including being on time and at work as scheduled
• Reliable Transportation
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Operators are required to wear steel-toed boots
• Must be able to pass a background test and drug screen

• Standing and repetitive bending and twisting

Responsibilities

• Meeting production and scrap goals
• Inspecting machined parts for surface defects and verifying conformance to specifications provided in job book instructions using measuring instruments
• Changing tools and making offsets to machines as needed
• Reporting hourly production, scrap and downtime on appropriate form
