About The Position

Haag-Streit USA is seeking a CNC Operator to set up and operate CNC machines for machining parts to specified dimensions and tolerances. The role involves reading specifications, monitoring machine operation, and inspecting workpieces with measuring instruments to verify that they meet quality requirements. Production employees work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, progressive culture and contribute to producing medical equipment.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Relevant CNC setup experience on CNC lathes and vertical machining centers.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure products meet quality expectations.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, active participation, and active listening.
• Ability to communicate ideas, problems, and solutions clearly in written and oral form to all levels of manufacturing management.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform operations such as turning, drilling, boring, threading, milling, and facing.
• Read specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and required quantities.
• Observe machine operation and verify workpiece conformance using measuring instruments.
• Read gauges including O.D. and I.D. micrometers, a height gauge, dial calipers, and a scale.
• Inspect parts as needed to maintain a low rejection and scrap rate.
• Meet Reliance Medical Products’ established setup and run-time standards.
• Work as part of a team assembling a product or product component.
