CNC Operators
About The Position
Snelling Staffing has immediate openings for experienced CNC Mill & Lathe Operators/Machinists at a Tier 1 automotive client in Clinton Township. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity after 90 days, with all shifts available. The CNC Operator is responsible for operating computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts, loading parts into the machine, cycling the machine, and detecting malfunctions. They also maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment. General Labor roles will support CNC Operators with loading/unloading parts. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating either a CNC Mill or Lathe machine.
- Experience with offsets required.
- Experience checking parts required.
- Must be available to train on 1st shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts.
- Load parts into the machine.
- Cycle machine.
- Detect malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
- Support CNC Operators in loading/unloading parts (General Labor role).
