About The Position

The CNC Operator fabricates and constructs a diverse line of products to specifications using drawings or prints and highly technical equipment. The operator is expected to understand how to develop, load, and modify programs on personal computers used to operate the equipment, and to perform preventative maintenance as required. The role works with engineers, vendor technicians, and programmers, and includes training co-workers. The operator is responsible for product quality and safe equipment operation, works with little supervision, and must be physically capable of handling products, materials, and equipment as needed. Training will be provided. Basic programming for laser or CNC equipment is part of the role.
