About The Position

The CNC Operator will operate CNC machines to produce high-quality fasteners. This role involves setting up and calibrating machines, maintaining specifications through various operations, inspecting finished products, troubleshooting machine issues, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The position also requires maintaining continuity between shifts and contributing to organizational goals by adding value to job accomplishments. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience operating CNC machines
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality fasteners
• Set up and calibrate machines according to specifications
• Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related problems
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Other duties as needed or required
