This position operates a minimum of two types of CNC equipment and assists in training/mentoring of Level I operators. The role involves running multiple machines at or above expected parts-per-hour targets, reading and understanding M codes and basic G codes, and independently changing or replacing broken or worn tools. The operator will identify functional issues or trends with fixtures, troubleshoot them, and make corrective actions to out-of-tolerance dimensions in a CMM or control plan without assistance. This role also supports inspection processes by interpreting technical drawings and validating measurements using CMM and manual tools. Collaboration with leads and/or engineers to improve setups, reduce scrap, and improve efficiency is expected. This is a full-time position with a shift differential, working Monday-Thursday from 4 PM to 2:30 AM.
