About The Position

The CNC Operator I is responsible for continually learning how to operate machinery in CNC. Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience using hand and power tools
Must be able to lift 50lbs

Willingness to learn to run CNC Horizontal and/or Vertical machines, and basic CNC machining

Responsibilities

Learn to Operate CNC Machines with little assistance
Learn how to work with complex blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, job orders, tooling instructions, and standard charts
Learn how to make required adjustments to machinery to compensate for material tooling, machine, or program conditions
Learn to make tool offsets with no assistance
Learn to inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
Operate CNC machines without supervision after receiving the proper training
Other duties as assigned
