About The Position

The CNC Operator I operates and adjusts semi-automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided, and setups are often made and maintained by others. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Due to ITAR and U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) are eligible for employment. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visa. This is a 2nd Shift position from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM Monday - Thursday. Second shift employees are eligible for a 20% shift differential.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States
  • U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) are eligible for employment due to ITAR and U.S. Government contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Adjusts and operates semi-automatic CNC machines with minimum supervision
  • Spot-checks succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications, using micrometers and precision dial gauges.
