Our Performance Center in Carson, CA is the Engineered Products Group site for our Human Machine Interface, Motion Control Device, and Radio Frequency (RF) product lines.

Requirements

  • Experienced CNC Machine with hands-on expertise in CNC Haas milling (3-4 axis)
  • Experience in aerospace, medical devices, defense manufacturing, and aluminum/steel components.
  • Perform setups, changeovers, first article inspections
  • Reading and interpret blueprint-based measurements while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
  • CNC Haas Milling (Operation & Setup)
  • Experience with Mori Seiki & Takamaz CNC Lathes
  • Experience with Fanuc Control Panels
  • Reading Blueprint & GD&T Interpretation
  • First Article Inspection (FAI)
  • Utilizing precision measuring tools such as Calipers, Micrometers, Depth Micrometers, Gauges and Optical Comparator Inspection
  • Quality Control & Documentation
  • Changeover & Tool Offset Adjustments
  • PPE Compliance & Daily Machine Maintenance

Responsibilities

  • Pulls required fixtures, holding devices and materials.
  • Inserts tool holders or installs pre-set tools in machine.
  • Sets and sharpens tools as necessary
  • Adjusts tool travel distances
  • Writes, modifies and inputs required program instructions
  • Monitors machine operations, inspects machined parts to ensure job specification maintenance.
  • Selects from a variety of standard methods to inspect intricate parts
  • Improves machining method and builds special form tools as needed
