About The Position
Timpte is growing and looking to add a CNC Operator to join our BRAND NEW Lincoln Manufacturing Center! Hours for this position are Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm with possible overtime on Friday. Pay for this role is $25-28/hr + Monthly bonus!
Requirements
- 1-3 years of previous experience as a CNC machine operator.
- Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and schedules.
- Knowledge to operate machines, hand tools, tape measures, cranes and other equipment.
- Ability to work with general supervision and make basic quality decisions.
- Must be able to work with other employees.
- Great attention to detail.
- Excellent computer and mathematical skills.
Responsibilities
- Setup and manage CNC machines to perform different fabrication jobs or activities.
- Identify and load/unload tooling and fixtures from CNC equipment.
- Conduct regular CNC machine assessments and preventative maintenance to keep tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
- Adjust machine settings as necessary.
- Inspect work for quality, workmanship and that they meet blueprint tolerances.
