About The Position

Northern Gear & Machining is seeking an experienced CNC Multi-Axis Twin Turet Lathe Setup/ Nakamura Machinist. This role requires proficiency in operating multiple machines with high productivity, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while adhering to ISO standards. The position emphasizes accountability for product quality and teamwork under the direction of a shift supervisor.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience
Proficient with gauging and understanding blueprints
Ability to change tooling and inserts
Proficient operating multiple machines
Ability to troubleshoot
Ability to read and understand frequencies and follow processes
Ability to understand and be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Accountable and responsible for product going to customer, meeting all ISO standards
Good communication skills
Good math and reading skills
Dependable
Have transportation
