This role is responsible for programming and operating multi-axis CNC equipment to develop efficient machining methods for close tolerance, one-off work supporting injection molds, electrodes, fixtures, etc., as well as for large-scale production. The specialist will evaluate and select cost-effective cutting tools, investigate new CNC equipment technologies, and act as an internal expert resource for CNC machine technology and processes. Responsibilities also include operating all machines safely, developing proper machining sequences for efficiency, completing paperwork for labor cost tracking, and identifying potential process improvements from drawings.
