About The Position

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand is currently hiring CNC Milling Set Up Production Operator for all our 1st Shift. This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office. Requirements

  • Extensive experience with Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs)
  • Proven ability to perform machine setups independently
  • 5-10 years of CNC setup experience
  • Experience with program editing and modification
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
  • Working knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting Fanuc controllers
  • Familiarity machining cast iron/cast components

Nice To Haves

  • One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up to operate vertical milling machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
  • Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts and shop orders to plan and check work.
  • Obtain proper set of tools from tool crib, select holders, mount, secure, and check tools for accuracy.
  • Interpret drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications and instructions to determine proper operation sequences.
  • Make necessary calculations for tool depth and tool compensation adjustments.
  • Move completed material to next workstation.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.
