The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for milling operations, ensuring high-quality production and efficient machining processes. Strong programming experience is required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Milling Programmer (required)
Strong knowledge of G-code programming and CNC milling operations
Experience with Mastercam
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
Familiarity with tooling, fixturing, and machining processes
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Experience with multi-axis (3, 4, or 5-axis) milling
Background in a manufacturing or precision machining environment
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices

Responsibilities

Develop and edit CNC programs for milling machines using CAM software and/or manual G-code programming
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements
Set up and optimize machining processes for efficiency, accuracy, and tool life
Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to ensure product specifications are met
Perform program troubleshooting and make adjustments as needed during production
Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials
Maintain documentation of programs, setups, and process improvements
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
