2nd Shift CNC Milling Machinist-5% Shift Differential
About The Position
Cleveland Gear/Hellan Strainer, a leading manufacturer of high-quality worm gearing, industrial speed reducers, custom gear drives, strainers, pressure vessels and hose reels, is seeking candidates for the role of 2nd Shift Milling Machinist. This position is for sophisticated, talented, highly-motivated individuals with initiative who are seeking a challenging and exciting opportunity to join a set of well-established, profitable, and growing companies. The individual in this position will be charged with setup and operation responsibilities in a Horizontal Machining Center, completing tasks based on customer demands, production requirements and quality with respect to Cleveland Gear policy and procedure. Successful candidates are expected to maintain a performance level in accordance with work center productivity and quality goals.
Requirements
- 1 year experience in the set-up and operation in setting-up and operating precision machinery including Computer Numerical Controls (CNC)
- Basic understanding of mathematical concepts and blueprint interpretation
- High School Diploma
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years experience in setting-up and operating precision machinery including Computer Numerical Control (CNC)
- Aptitude in applied mathematics and blueprint interpretation
- Experience process inspection and measurement systems
Responsibilities
