We're looking for a top-level CNC Mazak Integrex Programmer / Setup Machinist to join our team. This is a low-volume, high-mix, precision manufacturing environment, every day brings a new setup and a new challenge. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience programming and setting up Mazak Integrex (twin-spindle) mill-turn equipment in a low-volume, high-mix environment
  • Proficiency with Mazatrol Smooth conversational programming
  • Experience machining precision, tight-tolerance parts, including jaw cutting
  • Solid understanding of cutting tools, metal properties, and mill operations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and GD&T
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a manufacturing team in a fast-paced shop
  • Strong geometry and analytical math skills for calculating tool paths, feed rates, and speeds
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Must currently reside in the Houston area, or be relocating on a confirmed timeline within the next few weeks

Responsibilities

  • Program and set up Mazak Integrex mill-turn machines using Mazatrol conversational programming to run complex, tight-tolerance parts
  • Create and proof new CNC programs, and optimize existing programs for efficiency and cycle time
  • Complete full setups for low-volume, high-mix production; hand off to operators once machines are running
  • Select cutting tools and apply knowledge of feeds, speeds, and tool life optimization
  • Interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and work instructions to plan machining sequences
  • Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to confirm part quality
  • Troubleshoot machining issues at the control to keep production running smoothly
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
