About The Position

Moeller Precision Tool is seeking a skilled CNC & Manual Machinist experienced in Tool Steel to join their team. This role involves working with state-of-the-art equipment in a clean, climate-controlled machine shop. Machinists will work on a variety of high-precision tooling projects, producing parts in small to medium runs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of machining experience operating CNC and/or manual machines
• Experience performing CNC machine setups strongly preferred
• Blueprint reading skills
• Knowledge and understanding of quality measurement tools (i.e. caliper, micrometer, indicator, etc.)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and shop math skills.
• High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Experience machining tool steel
• Experience working with Mazatrol or Fanuc controls

Responsibilities

• Perform full CNC machine setups (tooling, offsets, fixturing)
• Machine tool steel components to tight tolerances
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints
• Set speeds, feeds, and tolerances
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards
