About The Position

CNC Maintenance Technicians play a critical role in ensuring the continuous operation of our 24/7 manufacturing facility. Responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of equipment, this role is essential to minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
Vocational training or apprenticeship in industrial maintenance is required
Level I - A minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar maintenance role to include repair of CNC machining centers is required
Level II - A minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar maintenance role to include repair of CNC machining centers is required
Level III - A minimum of five (5) years experience in a similar maintenance role to include repair of CNC machining centers is required
Valid Driver's license and acceptable safe driving record to meet insurance requirements
Mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and troubleshooting

Nice To Haves

Vocational training or apprenticeship in industrial maintenance is preferred (for Level I)
Vocational training or apprenticeship in industrial maintenance is required (for Level II and III)
A Journeyman Electrician License is preferred (for Level III)
Experience troubleshooting and performing repairs on Okuma, Makino, Toyoda and Fadal machines is preferred
OEM Certification is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP or CMMS/Work Order system experience is preferred
Strong multitasking, time management, and adaptability

Responsibilities

Read work orders, specifications, blueprints, and schematics to determine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues
Performs moderate to advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, pumps, HVAC, cranes, forklifts, compressors, and other facility equipment
Monitors fluid levels and may add/change fluids, including coolant to machines; safely transports and stores used coolant for collection by authorized waste vendor
Safely and efficiently operates forklift and other material-handling equipment including scissor lifts or other powered industrial lifts; may operate overhead or jib cranes; certification must be obtained upon hire and maintained throughout employment
Maintain accurate records in ERP and work order systems; manage parts and supply inventory as needed
Keep work areas clean and organized; return tools and equipment to proper storage after use
Follows all safety policies and procedures; consistently utilizes all required personal protective equipment (PPE); attends and participates actively in safety training; may participate in safety committee
Communicates verbally (English) and follows verbal and written instructions
Level II and III may provide training to level I technicians
Performs other tasks and/or assignments as required
Regular on-site attendance at the workplace is required
