The Level 2 Machinist is responsible for operating multiple 2-to-5 axis CNC lathe machines simultaneously. This role requires comprehensive machine setup, quality inspections, and basic preventative maintenance to ensure precision and efficiency. Our client is a premier manufacturing specialist based in Ontario, CA, dedicated to the rough and finish machining of super alloys. Serving the aerospace, commercial, defense, power, and petroleum industries, they produce complex components utilizing nickel base, titanium, stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steels, with part sizes ranging from 2" OD to 120" OD. This position supports multiple shifts based on business needs. New hires typically undergo training on the 1st shift for approximately 3 months (or until independent competency is demonstrated).
