We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Medway manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality components that meet customer and engineering specifications. The ideal candidate has experience working in a precision manufacturing environment and is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining preferred.
Experience operating CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with Okuma and Haas CNC machines.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Team members must be able to safely perform a range of physical activities, including standing and walking for extended periods, with frequent use of hands for tasks requiring dexterity and grip.
Roles may require frequent bending, kneeling, and maintaining balance, with occasional climbing or repositioning to support production needs.
This position is classified as medium work, requiring the ability to lift, carry, or move materials up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs consistently.
Employees must be able to effectively communicate, hear, and visually assess work to ensure quality, safety, and accuracy in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machining centers to produce components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Program, edit, and troubleshoot CNC machines as needed to optimize production and quality.
Operate and maintain Okuma and Haas CNC machining equipment.
Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to ensure efficient production.
Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Follow all safety, quality, and standard work procedures.
Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
