About The Position

Operates all types of CNC Turning & Milling machines under the direction of the area supervisor or Lead Person. This position is 100% on site, Monday through Friday with overtime available (2nd shift: 3:30pm-12:00am). 2nd shift includes a 10% shift differential.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years machinist experience
At least two years prior experience using Okuma CNC Machines
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Nice To Haves

Must be able to understand and follow instructions in English.
Must be able to understand and interpret blueprints and sketches.
Must have demonstrated mechanical ability.

Responsibilities

Performs set-ups and operates multiple CNC turn & mill machines and related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developed.
The ability to operate more than one machine in a cell environment is required.
Inspects work for all dimensional features as required.
Produces quality and quantity of work in accordance with Company requirements.
Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc according to Company policy.
Performs duties always exercising good machining practices.
Maintains area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition including operator maintenance sheets.
Maintains coolant tanks and fills as necessary.
Assists new and less experienced operators as requested.
Observes all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security.
