About The Position

Aerex Industries, Inc. is an ASME Code–authorized steel fabrication facility holding “U,” “S,” and “R” ASME Certificates of Authorization. We are seeking skilled and motivated CNC Machinists who take pride in their craftsmanship, work safely, and thrive in a challenging, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Mechanical aptitude and technical skills
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality control
  • Physical stamina, strength, and manual dexterity
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to solve problems and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to work under production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to accept constructive feedback and rework tasks as needed
  • Must have dependable transportation
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

  • CNC training certificates from various manufacturers preferred
  • Color vision may be required for certain tasks involving color-coded components

Responsibilities

  • Operate multiple CNC-based machines, including mills, routers, pipe cutters, and robotic arms
  • Set up and operate CNC equipment by installing tools, loading materials, setting machine parameters, and loading programs
  • Write, modify, and optimize G-code and toolpaths for complex parts
  • Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications and drawings
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine, program, and material issues
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Train and coach other employees to operate, maintain, and clean machines.
  • Collaborate with engineers and management to improve designs and production efficiency
  • Perform or assist with other fabrication duties as assigned by management
