About The Position

Precinmac is a leading supplier of mission-critical, high-precision machined components for aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and automation industries. We’re seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with experience in 4-axis horizontal milling and/or lathe/mill-turn machining — someone who thrives on precision and takes pride in producing exceptional work.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred
2-year degree in Precision Machining or 2+ years CNC machining experience in aerospace, medical, or high-precision environments
Experience machining medium to high-complexity parts
Knowledge of programming language, tooling, inserts, fixtures, and machining accessories
Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and engineering drawings
Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, CMM exposure)
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Strong math skills (geometry, algebra, basic trigonometry)
Ability to run multiple machines independently or as part of a team
Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice To Haves

Experience in 4-axis horizontal milling and/or lathe/mill-turn machining

Responsibilities

Run CNC lathes, mill-turns, and 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills to produce high-quality parts
Load parts, set offsets, prove programs, perform edits, deburr, and inspect
Read drawings, GD&T, manuals, and specifications to determine tolerances and machining sequences
Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and CMM data to verify accuracy
Identify malfunctions, out-of-tolerance conditions, and adjust machines or tooling as needed
Work with supervisors, engineers, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues
Keep equipment clean, organized, and running efficiently
Follow AS9100, safety regulations, and company policies
