CNC Machinist - Night Shift | Rollomatic experience preferred
About The Position
If you enjoy precision machining and want to grow your skills in a clean, world-class facility, this role is a strong fit. As a CNC Machinist at Moeller Precision Tool, you will work in a highly technical environment focused on precision and efficiency. Previous machine operation and setup experience is necessary. You will also have the opportunity to learn other machines. We are especially interested in candidates with Rollomatic experience and give priority consideration to those with setup and operation experience on Rollomatic machines (especially NP5). Skilled CNC machinists without Rollomatic backgrounds are still encouraged to apply and will be considered. This is a night shift position.
Requirements
- Basic math skills (i.e. – Algebra or higher)
- High school Diploma or GED
- Ability to work 8–10 hour shifts and perform physical tasks required of machining.
- Experience in CNC or manual machine set-up and operation
- Blueprint reading skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds is essential.
- Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment, are required to perform the job effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Rollomatic experience
- Setup and operation experience on Rollomatic machines (especially NP5)
- Previous experience with tool steel preferred
- Familiarity with Mazatrol and Fanuc preferred
- Experience operating Rollomatic grinding machines (highly preferred, but not required)
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate setups and ensure high-quality machining output across multiple platforms.
- Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
- Setting tolerance levels and speeds
- Translating the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production
- Perform inspection on manufactured parts
- Operate and/or learn advanced grinding equipment, including Rollomatic machines
