About The Position

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong HAAS mill and/or lathe experience to produce precision metal parts. The role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC equipment, interpreting technical documents, inspecting parts, adjusting machines to maintain quality, and supporting production efficiency and equipment upkeep. The schedule is 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pay is $25–$32 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

2–5 years of CNC machining experience, preferably in a metal fabrication or job shop environment.
Proficiency with HAAS controls for mills and/or lathes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience with G-code programming and editing.
Technical training or certification in machining.

Responsibilities

Set up, program, and operate HAAS CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations and tolerances.
Perform tool changes and offsets, and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure part quality and accuracy.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve production efficiency and address machining challenges.
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
