About The Position

The CNC Operator is responsible for safely operating pre-set CNC equipment to produce quality parts that meet customer and internal specifications. This role focuses on consistent production and adherence to standard work.

Requirements

• Must be able to use small hand-held tools, grinders, sanders, etc.
• Must be able to accurately complete all required Modineer production system documentation such as production reports, inspection reports, etc.
• Must be able to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience is a plus
• The ability to read calipers, digital micrometers and indicators is a plus, but is not required.
• Experience operating and setting up CNC machines is highly desirable but is not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Load parts into and unload parts from the CNC machines.
• Operate CNC machines to run production.
• Deburr parts when necessary.
• Perform quality checks per requirements.
• Package parts.
• Perform material handling functions.
• Read and understand work instructions.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Handle/lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Use small hand-held tools to make minor adjustments to parts.
• Read and understand measurement devices.
• Perform other associated job duties as needed.
